Noch sehen die meisten Konferenzen aus wie eh und je: Es spielt meist nur ein Film während das Wissen aller anderen in manchmal gemütlichen und manchmal nicht so gemütlichen Stühlen vor sich her sitzt. Keynotes haben ihren Wert. Doch die Kunst, Konferenzen als ein Fest der kollektiven Auseinandersetzung und Beteiligung zu gestalten, ist noch in den meisten Konferenzen un-entfaltet.

Ich bin der Auffassung, dass sich in in der Art und Weise, wie wir uns in grossen Gruppen treffen und austauschen, noch ein grosses Potential versteckt. Daran zu arbeiten war und ist mir ein grosses Anliegen. Falls du Teil eines Organisationsteams für Konferenzen bist und Interesse daran hast, neue Herangehensweisen auszuprobieren, dann freue ich mich auf deine Kontaktaufnahme.

In einem unverbindlichen Gespräch werden wir deine/eure individuelle Situation besprechen, erste Möglichkeiten erörtern und schauen ob wir davon inspiriert werden. Auf dieser Basis werden wir dann die weiteren Schritte definieren.

Most of the conferences still look like they always have: Most of the time, only one person is speaking while everyone else's knowledge just sits there in sometimes comfortable and sometimes not so comfortable chairs. Keynotes have their value. But the art of making conferences a celebration of collective engagement and participation is still mostly undeveloped.

I believe that one of the greatest und still unexplored potentials lies in the way we meet and exchange ideas in large group settings. Working on this issue was and is very important to me.
